1- SENIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
Job Description
• Optimize and manage our VMware server environment
• Ensure seamless network operations through effective Domain controller management
• Safeguard our systems with the expertise of Sophos and Fortigate firewalls.
• Keep an eye out for needed updates implement a backup policy, perform backups, and verify backups of internal and external data to ensure data recoverability in case of emergencies
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as a L3, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Build technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
• Administer VPN Connectivity (Site/Client)
• Works under general direction from senior management and provide different reports indicating the IT infrastructure status besides any requested reporting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BSc degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Certified Systems Administrator Certificates like (MCSA)) is a plus.
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role, Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator
Expert in setting up and administrating VMware virtualization systems (VCenter, ESXi, etc.)
Proficiency in the management of Domain controllers.
Strong experience with the operation of Sophos and Fortigate firewalls.
Strong experience in the Backup operation Specially by Veeam.
Familiarity with Kasper Security Server and deploying policies.
Familiarity with mobile phones/printers/scanners/ Wi-Fi Systems, CCTV systems and other IT peripherals.
Excellent communication skills.
Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking.
